Trescom talks: Cómo comunicar la RSC con Ana Medina

La periodista de Expansión ha participado en un Trescom Talks para analizar las claves de una buena comunicación de la responsabilidad social de las empresas. “Convencer internamente de la necesidad de comunicar la política de RSC en una empresa no es tarea fácil.
Lo más importante es conseguir que implique a todos los departamentos, para que lo consideren un elemento transversal y también bidireccional de arriba abajo”, ha asegurado Ana Medina durante la presentación. “Esta información tiene que ajustarse a los proyectos ligados a la estrategia de negocio de la empresa, escogiendo cuidadosamente aquellos que sean el estandarte de tu política de sostenibilidad y buscando los asuntos que son prioritarios para tus grupos de interés”, añadía.
En este contexto la periodista recomienda una serie de consejos para lograr el éxito de esa comunicación: “Ser transparente, contar lo que realmente se hace, adelantarse en casos de crisis para que esa información no venga de terceros. Además, hay que buscar la oportunidad y pensar a qué público quieres dirigirte. No es lo mismo un medio generalista, una televisión o radio, un medio nicho en esta materia o un medio económico”, ha asegurado durante la presentación en Trescom.
Además, ha repasado la evolución de la comunicación de RSC, “que ha ido avanzando a golpe de legislación”, ha asegurado. “Al principio estaba más enfocada a la acción social de las empresas, especialmente en el exterior. Ahora la nueva Ley de Información no Financiera, aprobada a final de 2018, obliga a un buen número de empresas que tendrán que aportar en sus memorias un informe de las políticas de RSC realizadas desde ese mismo año”.
Ana Medina es redactora de Expansión y desde hace más de 16 años está especializada en información “extra financiera”, además de otros sectores. En materia de RSC ha recibido diversos galardones como el Premio del Club Español de la Energía o el premio Forética-Novartis de Periodismo y Responsabilidad Social Empresarial.
